VHCB Message on COVID-19
Corona Virus Update
In the face of the growing Corona Virus pandemic, and with the health and well-being of our staff and community our main concern, the VHCB office will be closed to the public, and staff will be working remotely until further notice.
Beginning at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, March 17th, our staff will be working remotely and our office will be closed to visitors.
Any meetings that were scheduled in our offices have been cancelled, unless taking place by phone. We will otherwise be conducting business as usual. Our staff will be accessible via email and phone, and will have access to all our electronic files to continue the organization’s work. This change is new to us, and there may be a few wrinkles as we transition to a remote work environment. We ask for your patience and understanding as we bring ourselves up to speed.
VHCB is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 virus. Social Distancing is one of the tools we have to help slow the spread of the virus. Staff are being advised to monitor their own health and to take extra precautions. Please take the necessary steps to ensure your own continued health by focusing on hand washing, staying away from group gatherings, and avoiding contact with those who have been sick.
