VHCB AmeriCorps Invites Applications for 2021-2022 Program Host Sites

We are pleased to announce the opportunity to host AmeriCorps members at your organization through the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board AmeriCorps Program for the 2021-2022 program year!

Letter of Intent to apply due by May 3, 2021 at 5 pm
Completed Applications are due May 12, 2021 at 5 pm.

A Letter of Intent is not required if submitting a complete application by May 3.

The 2021-2022 program year begins in September 2021 and goes through August 2021.  Host Sites can apply for a member(s) to serve in Full-Time 11 month positions, Half-Time 6 month positions, or 2022 Summer-only positions.  In exchange for the member’s service, Host Sites are responsible for supervision and training of the member, and a cash subsidy. For more information, please see the Slot Information sheet on our website. A complete application includes the following:
1. Host Site Application
2. Position Description (using the 2021-22 VHCB AmeriCorps Position Description Template)
3. Risk Assessment Questionnaire with required documents. New Supervisor Assessment required for new Supervisors only.

VHCB AmeriCorps slots will be awarded as soon as possible following the May 12 deadline, dependent on notification of AmeriCorps Program funding.
