Through my service, I took part in NeighborWorks Week where we had events set up for various properties. One of the events this year was at Academy Lane Apartments in Peacham, VT. At this property we conducted a flower bed rehab. The flower bed has been completely over taken by weeds. As part of my service I assisted in clearing and cleaning up the flower bed. The residents were so happy to get their flower be back and reclaimed from the weeds. They are so happy to be able to see their flowers come back and discover what flowers are in the bed.
