    PARKING

    We encourage carpooling, of course!

METERS: There are several lots around downtown, labeled A-G on the map. Check the parking meters— GREEN meters in the City lots allow 10-hour parking and YELLOW meters allow 4-hour parking. You will need quarters for the meters; they do not take credit or debit cards.

FREE PARKING: There is unlimited, free parking at the Barre Auditorium, 16 Auditorium Hill, a 10-minute walk downhill to the Barre Elks Lodge.

Directions for walking from the Barre Auditorium Parking to the Elks Lodge: Walk down Seminary Street and take a left on Summer Street.  At the corner of Elm Street, take a right on Elm Street. The Elks Lodge is on the left, at the corner of Elm Street and Jefferson St. Enter up the broad stairway on Jefferson Street to the top floor and the main hall.  There is an elevator on the side of the building between the Elks and L. Brown Printing which is next door on the front (Jefferson St. side) of the building.

There is unmetered parking on side streets in the neighborhoods near the Elks.

RECEPTION PARKING  There will be some parking available after 4:00 p.m. at the Old Labor Hall on Granite Street, where the reception will take place, from ~4:45-6:45 p.m.
